Being a theif of the bronze age

Maximus was running through the streets of the new city, looking at buildings that as a child were not there. As he past by buildings he could see his reflection, on the bright metal {copper} that was reflecting the sun's rays directly at his face. He was a shamed of him self, he was not the kind of man that would ever steel something, but he had no choice he had to traid  something of the cities leader jewelry {something very little which the leader would even notice missing.} This task for him was not to hard since he was the leaders right hand as they say. As he was picking out the item to steal one of the gaurds walked in by mistake looking for the leader to deliver him some news. For a short moment Maximus froze frightened. Sweat coming down his eyelids and on to the wooden floor. Maximus was thinking of how high the building was and remembered that he was only on the second floor, high enough for a kid to break its legs but not as high for an adult. So Maximus took one deep breath and with all his courage ran to to window and leaped out. As he touched the ground with his feet he immediately made a roll thus making him not injure his feet. He stood up scared for his life. As he started running that's when he realized that he was still holding some piece of jewelry. This was no small jewelry, this was the tooth of an lion which the leader killed himself along with his father and grandfather and a couple of other people which were at that time tribe members. Maximus finally found a place to hide, it was under a arch bridge. As he stayed hidden catching his breath, he heard the loud footsteps of the soldiers. All of a sudden one of them stopped approaching closer to the hiding place of Maximus, but then he went away catching up to the other soldiers. Maximus knew that there weren't many soildes maybe only ten to fifteen. They were there simply to keep the city the way it was. Maximus had to reach his home, but somehow also had to keep in the shadows away from the light. When he finally reached home he explain everything to his wife, and she was devastated. She couldn't believe that the man she married would do something like that, just then he realized what he would have done if everything would have gone the way it was supposed to and if the guard hadn't come into that room. The next place he would visit would be the holly place. A narrow long building where only a few people could come in sit down and pray to the mighty god. As Maximus said everything he had to and prayed for forgiveness. He also knew what he had to do second! After a couple of days past he waited for the right moment to sneak back to the leaders house when he came through the rear way he grab out the note he had written some symbols and held it in his hands he approached the kings room and left the tooth and the letter. As he was leaving the building a couple of guards spotted him and took him to the leader. The leader not knowing that he returned the items arranged that after the sun falls he'll be hanged. when the leader returned home he saw the stolen items back. He was about to come back and cancel of the hanging and make him face a  punishment that wasn't as cruel, but was informed that Maximus had escape and wasn't in his home neither was his wife. To be honest the leader was kind of clad that he escaped. Maximus and Suverina were already half way from another city walking in the dry land for days. Later on in the years past they got a daughter and secretly the leader from the other city which they came from send the man to protect them with his live.

Becoming Human: Last Human Standing

Have you ever wondered why all of our early ancestors and early humans in general have disappeared and we have not? This was quite a fascinating happening because it was proven that Neanderthals had an even bigger brain then our own. So how come that at the very end we were the ones that stayed and not them? It all comes down to one big thing. And that is the diet which we had. Even though the Neanderthals had bigger brains that our own, they didn't use the quality they could have used. In other words our brains were more complex and sophisticated  then theirs. As a fact to this they only ate meat and just meat nothing else, not even vegetables. So for killing there pray they used maybe two or three different types of weapons to kill their pray. After making the same type of technology over and over again your intelligence doesn't quite grow anymore, because your so used to it. After a couple of years we {Homo Sapiens} migrated to a place next to the water which made us change our whole daily routines and tasks. We also change the way we eat and hunt and made new equipment which would suit the place we are haunting at. As you can see only from this little thing like the change in food changed the whole evolution to other early humans. Thus making them vanish and making us the last human standing

Taming Fire; The first scientist

Have you ever thought about fire and how it saved and helped humanity. You probably didn't. Well a resource which modern humans use rarely was once a key thing to survival. Scientist estimated that humans have been using fire for at least 250,000 but they were most likely wrong, because they found animals bones in a cave somewhere in Swartkrans that were completely burned up. And the temperature used to cook them was too high for it to be a wildfire thus making fire use be older then a 1,000,000 years. In the past humans would have used hearths {a fire place made out of stone}, often identified by a circle of rocks around it. And inside of them were bones, animal remains if you will. Like i mentioned before hearths have a higher temperature of heat then any other natural fire like wildfire, but of course not as hot as lava. Who ever seemed to ignore all of the consequences of fire changed human evolution for the better. A result of this would be food because with fire it is easier to digest it and fire also cleans up all the bacteria and worms. Another big influence fire made was the immigration of early humans form Africa to Europe and Asia, which expanded the life of early humans. Fire also protected early humans from dangers predators while they were sound asleep. As you can see their are lots of ways that fire helped us humans, in fact to much for me to write but these are the most basic ones. With out someone taking a risk we would have never discovered fire this early.

On Our Own Two Feet

Humans way of waking is unique. We are the only creatures on earth to walk up straight on only two legs, and we have been doing this for a very long time, more then 6 million years to be exact. Now because we got used to walking this way we don't but a lot of effort into it, or in other words we have a very good balance thanks to our pelvis. It is structured in a way to keep our body upright while in apes it is turned side was which makes the waste bend more easily. One very interesting fact i learned while reading this article is that humans and apes are NOT RELATED! They have the same ancestor but form there they branch of in different ways and new creatures where born like us for example. As all of you know Apes and humans have some similar features but clearly our brain is much much larger then theirs thats the one of the biggest differences when comparing us to apes. When you turn all of the skulls over you will see a whole. Now for humans the whole is right in the middle of the back of their head this is where the spine cord goes and this is also another reason why we can easily walk on two legs. The apes spine cord hole is on the top of their head which makes the spine curve more therefore it is easier for them to walk on four legs. Even though our bodies changes and our brains grew, our ancestors childhood was pretty short, kind of like an apes. Not to mentioned that there growth was doubled when they were small. In conlusion i would like to mention that we have change and developed {in a better way} but there still are mysterious form the past about us which are not yet solved

Who's Who Among the Early Hominids?

In the past there where many different types of creatures before we evolved, some very similar to are kind while others were more like apes. Over time there body structure changed as well as their mind and everything else. One of the oldest recorded ancestors which we found is a called Sahelanthropus Tchandensis. It is about 6-7 million years old, and there have been lots of arguements if this creature resembles us {humans} more then apes. After that comes the Orrorin Tugenensis which was found in kenya. It lived approximately form 6.1 to 5.8 million years ago. It used to climb a lot like apes. After this comes the Ardipithecus {ground ape} which live 4.4 million years ago. Not a lot of information has been found on this creature except that it has ape like skeleton antonym, and that it had smaller molar teeth and larger front teeth, basically ape like features.  After the Ardipithecus  there are the Kenyapithecus Platyops, Parnthropus and Austalopithecus which kind of interacted during their life time because all of them lived in between 2 million years and 4 millions years ago. Now slowly we are beginning to get into early humans {sometimes known as cave men.} So we have Homo Erectus, Homo habills, and Homo rudolfensis which all three of them started to resemble a lot like humans. Homo habills even and Homo rudolfensis even started to use tools. After them we have Homo georgicus and homo neandethalensis, And Homo floreslensis. In conclusion i wanted to state that personally i am amazed how many creatures there were before us. Can you imagine what there community was like. Cant wait to find out even older ancestors.

Why We Study Human Origin

Why We Study Human Origins
by Randall Susman Calliope: Exploring World History

Through out years people have wanted to know how humans came to be. One of the first community to provide information from the past was religion. But as all of you know even in the past there were more then one religion which meant more then one possible answer.  Then around the nineteenth century a scientist named Charles Darwin came along and made started talking about human evolution and how humans evolved  from monkeys and apes. Of course because this was the nineteenth century there was no solid evidence like fossils and bones not until Henry Huxley showed up and found the first skeleton of what scientists say are our ancestors. He also made a daring discovery, according to the author “Huxley believed that anatomically,African apes and humans were similar, more similar in fact than apes were to monkeys.” This is interesting because when you look at an ape, it's looks resemble a monkey, but on the inside they are human like. In conclusion nobody yet figured out how we came to be and that's one of the mysteries which will take time to solve.

Gladiator School found!

National Geographic states that archaeologists found gladiator school a little bit outside of Vienna Austria. Not only is it a gladiator school but they say its huge. I will try to display a picture on the bottom of the passage. It is stated that its the largest know gladiator school found so far in the Roman Empire. They also discovered something that appears to be and underground gladiator cemetery. Archaeologist uncovered this school by using a fancy tool which im not sure of the certain name but is a tractor with special raider equipment. Could this be the biggest gladiator school from the Roman Empire or other more waiting to be discovered.

Here is a picture of the school:
